| Pressed Tin Backsplash | Pressed tin in a kitchen backsplash is fast becoming a very popular item in home decor. And, in the long run, a pressed-tin backsplash is a great alternative to ceramic tile and caulk. Pressed tin is not prohibitively expensive, it is easy to cut, and it is much less "messy" to install. Our backsplashes have an oil base and are sealed with coats of lacquer for long wear. They can easily be attached with liquid nails adhesive and do not require hardware.
Because the average height of a backsplash is only 18", the 3" & 6" patterns are most often used for this purpose, as the smaller pattern provides a better aesthetic fill, but the 12" patterns can also be used. With styles ranging from Victorian to art deco a tin backsplash can add extraordinary style and sophistication to almost any decor.
The pressed tin comes in sheets of 24" x 48" that can be cut on the job.
*** Please note that tin backsplashes can not be returned.
